Bunny Behavior is a fascinating subject. I know something about it from having observed bunnies closely now for about 5 years.  I know there is still a lot more to learn. If any of you have bunny observations for me, please send me emails (bunnygroomer@gmail.com) and in time I will compile all the emails into a page to add to this section.

There are different aspects of Behavior. One of them is Bunny Antics!

Bunnies do the cutest things. One of the most fun are Bunny Binkies! This is a movement the bunny makes that no human being could possible do! It is a strange and crazy jump-twist movement that people describe with a words like...binky, popcorn, or fruit-loop. The bunny will jump straight up in the air, but twist at the same time so that upon landing it will be going in a different direction than when it started out. You never know exactly where the bunny will end up. As a matter of fact, sometimes I am not sure the bunny knows where it will end up.
However, if the bunny is trying to escape from a predator, you better believer he knows exactly what he is doing. His/her ability to binky, popcorn, fruitloop, and stop on a dime are why bunnies can get away from predators quickly and save their own sweet little lives.

Another bunny antic is what I call Nascar, others call it the Indy, and I'm sure their are more names out there! Send me your names for these things in an email, and again, I will compile it into a page somewhere on my site!
Nascar, happens in the late afternoon at my place, when the pent up energy of the day builds up into excess bunny gas! All of a sudden the bunny will start to race around my sofa and 2 armchairs as if being chased or chasing something...... and will continue in circles around them for 2-4 laps till exhausted....and then fall into a stretched out heap in front of my fire place! Then it will lay there for a good half an hour, just resting...and pretending that race never happened. It cracks me up.

more to come ......
